School of Public Health

The School of Public Health, a centre of the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Thrissur, was established in 2018 with a mission to advance public health research and education. The institute is dedicated to conducting epidemiological studies and fostering the development of human resources in epidemiology and health policy.

Our research activities span various critical areas, including:

• Interventional studies
• Health systems research
• Evaluation of health schemes and disease control programs
• Research Methodology Consultations
• Epidemiological investigations and outbreak investigations
• Health Policy Studies

Through these initiatives, we aim to contribute to evidence-based policymaking and the improvement of public health outcomes.
