The office of the Dean (Research) is engaged in promotion of research as a co-curricular activity for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Research Capacity Building (ReCaB) is an ongoing activity led by the section with the support of the Schools and Centres as well as the Academic Staff College.

The section also facilitates conduct of the PhD Programme (Part-Time and Full-Time) in the recognised Research Centres of KUHS. We provide University Fellowship for full-time PhD for selected candidates to pursue PhD under the Schools of the university.

The section is actively engaged in promoting research activities across the university.
