KUHS-QAS ACCREDITATION
As envisaged in the Kerala University of Health Sciences Act 2010, Chapter II-5 (iii), 6 (xx, xxi), KUHS initiated the Accreditation programme with the approval of the 54th Governing Council. The process involves physical inspections by an assessment team appointed by the Hon. Vice Chancellor. Reports are reviewed by the Quality Assurance Monitoring Committee (QAMC) and presented to the Academic and Governing Councils. Accreditation is granted for 3 years by the Governing Council.

Fee Structure
- Accreditation Fee: ₹1,23,900/- (inclusive of 18% GST).
- Inspection Visits:
- Visit 1: Quality enabling 'handholding' visit.
- Visit 2: Quality Accreditation Inspection.
- Visit 3: Rectification of defects (if required).
- Additional inspections: ₹43,365/- per visit (inclusive of 18% GST).
Accreditation Terms
- Accreditation is valid for 3 years.
- Renewal requires application in prescribed format and payment of fee (as per KUHS guidelines).

- Faculty who have completed CQAS or QAS Assessor Training may be appointed as the responsible person.
